This year the women of St. Casimir's ANS society sponsored the annual "Giving Tree" event to benefit the Wish Project. The Wish Project is a non-profit organization in Chelmsford MA that helps local people in need by providing home and baby necessities.
The ANS kicked off the event on December 5 at our annual Homecoming Dinner. Throughout the Christmas season, parishioners donated over 40 packages of diapers, several shopping bags of baby wipes, lotions, shampoos, hand-made baby hats and other useful baby items.
ANS members Beverly Runowicz, Phyllis Hunt, Paula Jones, Janice Klimczak and JoAnn Menzia, worked to pack and deliver the items to Lori, the Projects Manager at the Wish Project.
Opportunities for volunteer work at the Wish Project are available, and some ANS members were interested in volunteering. For information on donating items and helping those in need, go to the Wish Project webpage.
