St. Casimir's ANS Busy in the Christmas Season

The Sisters of ANS held their annual Santa's Workshop on Sunday, November 27 at the home of ANS President JoAnn Menzia.  Gift bags were prepared for the sick and shut-ins of the parish.  Following ANS tradition, a little angel gift is carefully wrapped with tissue paper, tied with ribbon and a gift tag is attached with wishes of peace and joy from the members of St. Casimir's ANS. Christmas cards were also sent by the mail to let those who could not come to church to know they are fondly remembered.

In addition, ANS members readied the church for Christmas by changing the altar cloths, placing poinsettias and floral arrangements on the altars and adding Christmas garlands and decorations on the window ledges of the church.  Their work done with glory to God and with loving hearts made the interior of St. Casimir's church look beautiful for Christmas.

New members are always welcome to join St. Casimir's ANS to serve God and His Church.  Information can be obtained from President JoAnn Menzia or any ANS member.

Operation Christmas Child

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with help from youth groups in churches like St. Casimir's, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

This year our youth group filled and donated 24 shoeboxes, which included 9 shoeboxes donated by caring parishioners. Fr Andrzej blessed these gifts on November 22nd prior to delivery by Joey Quirbach to the collection site at West Church in Haverhill MA.
