PANCAKE BREAKFAST/SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
On Sunday, August 20, 2017, St. Casimir's of Lowell MA hosted a Blueberry Pancake Breakfast to benefit our Scholarship Fund. The food was prepared by our parish chefs and served to a full house.
During the breakfast, four scholarships were awarded to four deserving young parishioners: Rachel Quirbach, finishing her last year at Arizona State University majoring in Music Therapy; James Kosidlo, completing his fourth year at UMASS Dartmouth, majoring in Marketing; James Bigelow, beginning his first year at Plymouth State University (NH) and Joseph Quirbach, also beginning his first year at Manchester Community College (NH).
All of these young people received the sacraments and attended our School of Christian Living. They are active in the parish, participating in Mass—collectors, singers—and as members of the Youth Group, helping serve dinners, cleaning church/cemetery properties.
We wish them good luck in school and godspeed in their future endeavors.
